Benjamin Tree is a graduate of St Andrews’ Art History department (Scotland), having studied his master’s degree there with a thesis on Eikoh Hosoe’s Kamaitachi. He has most recently been awarded a scholarship for Ph.D study. His research interests include the relationship between photography and philosophy, photographic subjectivity, performance and photography, and photography (books) of the 1950s – 60s. He is a correspondent for UK’s North and Scotland.
