Todd Hido’s “Wish You Were Here” Lecture, George Eastman House
Todd Hido is a San Francisco Bay Area-based artist. In his latest book, A Road Divided, Hido again focuses his attention on the American landscape. Driving lonely roads on the outskirts of cities, he creates poignant images filled with inexplicable gravity. He often frames the compositions from inside his car, photographing through the windshield.
